Hare Krishna 🙏🏼
Dear Community devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I am writing this very urgent appeal on behalf of one of our community devotee Mataji's (Name withheld, respecting her privacy).
Mataji is a 38 years old widow, (HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj's disciple), who has lost her husband 4.5 years ago due to severe illness. She has been struggling to raise her two sons on her own, with practically no money. For the past few months Mataji has become very weak and unable to work. Due to her poor health and pathetic financial situation, she has been hiding her declining health condition. However, her condition became worse and worse, until she collapsed. Her sons took her to a government hospital in Nabadip, where she received a blood transfusion. Her haemoglobin was only 4.7!!! After learning about her condition, I had her seen at our community hospital in Mayapur. Again, out of shyness, she did not reveal her actual symptoms.
Today, I brought her to Manorama hospital in Ranaghat, where she was diagnosed with a very large tumour in her uterus. The doctor explained to me that she needs immediate treatment to remove the tumour, or she will die! 😢
The operation is scheduled for this Wednesday 13/11/2024.
I already paid nearly ₹30000 from my own pocket, even though it is a large amount for me. The hospital gave me a ball figure of the package of her treatment, which is ₹80000,- that needs to be paid on Wednesday before the surgery.
This operation can not be done at a public hospital. It is an emergency 🆘 situation, which can not wait.
I am asking everyone to please try to help this humble Mataji with a donation towards her hospital bill.
We need about ₹80000 plus ₹30000, a total of ₹ 1 Lack 10 thousand.
Hoping this finds everyone in the best of health.
Your servant,
Hrimati Dasi [ACBSP]
Note: As per latest update from HG Hrimati Mataji, they might need more funds for medical expenses. Hence we are re-opening this campaign and removing the target amount.

Also disbursed Rs 7,200 to ISKCON Habibpur since mataji will be staying there until 26th Nov for recuperation.
Mataji was discharged from the hospital on 19th Nov. Attached is also the discharge letter.
After receiving one unit of blood, she has developed a fever. They need her Hemoglobin to be at least 9, to be able to get her stable enough to go for surgery. They need to administer two more units of blood to stabilize her.
Please continue to pray for her well-being.

Consequently, to account for these essential expenditures and ensure the smooth functioning of our campaigns, we typically apply a deduction ranging from 1.5% to 2% per campaign.
If the beneficiary is not able to submit the bills for the entire amount collected in a particular campaign due to which some amount remains with us, then VaishnavaCart108® will utilize it for future campaigns.
The directors and volunteers working for VaishnavaCart108® do not receive any salary from the campaign funds. Instead, they provide their services voluntarily as an act of devotion. The campaign money is solely allocated to the intended beneficiaries, however a small percentage of the campaign money (1.5-2%) is deducted towards covering overhead expenses (Website & Domain maintenance charges, Chartered Accountant fees, and any other miscellaneous charges which may arise from time to time) and Payment gateway fees.
