My name is Shandilya Rishi das (disciple of HH Bhakti Vikas Swami Maharaj) and my wife Gandharvika Gopi dasi (disciple of HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj) has been diagnosed with a stage 3 high-grade aggressive form of triple-positive breast carcinoma at Shankara Cancer Foundation Hospital in Bangalore in August of 2023. With the blesings of HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj, her treatment commenced shortly after the diagnosis. For her Cancer treatment, we relocated to Bangalore from Tamil Nadu.
The prescribed treatment plan involves a series of medical procedures, including 6 chemotherapy sessions at 21-day intervals, 17 targeted therapies at 21-day intervals, surgery, and 35 cycles of continuous radiation therapy over 35 days. Additionally, hormone therapy for 8 years will follow. As of now, she has completed 4 chemotherapy and 4 targeted therapy sessions and surgery. Chemo therapy targetted therapy and radiation therapy will start soon.
Despite having insurance, not all expenses are covered, leaving a significant financial gap. Moreover, the treatment has led to a loss of income for both of us, as we are unable to continue our teaching jobs due to frequent hospital visits, physical weakness, changes in diet (including a switch to organic food and vegetables, inclusion of nuts and dry fruits, tender coconut, fruits, and supportive natural medicines), all of which have increased our overall expenses. I also have a daughter who is in her 10th Std and needs her education expense also covered. Our living costs which includes rent, conveyance, electricity charges, water charges are also becoming very difficult for us.
To overcome these financial challenges, we are seeking your kind assistance. Any kind of help would be highly appreciated and we humbly urge the devotees to kindly help us in this very challenging situation.
If possible, kindly post your prayer, when you donate.

Apart from the Razorpay transaction fee, we also bear other overhead expenses, including website domain and hosting charges, CA (Chartered Accountant) fees, and other relevant costs. Consequently, to account for these essential expenditures and ensure the smooth functioning of our campaigns, we typically apply a deduction ranging from 1.5% to 2% per campaign.
If the beneficiary is not able to submit the bills for the entire amount collected in a particular campaign due to which some amount remains with us, then VaishnavaCart108® will utilize it for future campaigns.
The directors and volunteers working for VaishnavaCart108® do not receive any salary from the campaign funds. Instead, they provide their services voluntarily as an act of devotion. The campaign money is solely allocated to the intended beneficiaries, however a small percentage of the campaign money (1.5-2%) is deducted towards covering overhead expenses (Website & Domain maintenance charges, Chartered Accountant fees, and any other miscellaneous charges which may arise from time to time) and Payment gateway fees.
