This campaign is being requested for Satya Krishna Prabhu [Saroj Kumar Saha], father of Suvarna Vrinda Devi Dasi [Smaranika Saha]. All of their family members are initiated disciples of HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj and residing in Mayapur. Satya Krishna Prabhu is 81 years old and has dedicated his life to the service of Krishna Consciousness since 1980. His notable contributions include:
Gita Preaching Department: Served from 1991 to 2007 at ISKCON Wari in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Temple Construction and Training: Supervised the construction of the temple and Bramacari training at ISKCON Habibpur, Ranaghat, West Bengal from 2007 to 2010.
Billing Department: Worked in the billing department of the Temple of Vedic Planetarium (TOVP) in Mayapur from 2010 to 2019.
Unfortunately, Satya Krishna Prabhu suffered a brain stroke on August 23, resulting in paralysis on the right side of his body. This has severely affected his ability to walk, speak, and eat. Additionally, he is facing complications related to a prostate condition. Medical professionals have recommended physiotherapy, acupressure, and speech therapy for his recovery.
Since the stroke, the family has incurred significant medical expenses totaling approximately ₹1 lakh, with ongoing costs expected to rise. The daily costs for his therapies are as follows:
Physiotherapy: ₹300
Speech Therapy: ₹350
Acupressure: ₹500
His daughter, Suvarna Vrinda Devi Dasi, a school teacher at SMIS Mayapur, is caring for him while managing her professional responsibilities. The family has had to borrow money from relatives to cover these expenses and is seeking assistance to manage future costs that could amount to several lakhs.
Given that Satya Krishna Prabhu is unable to handle financial transactions due to his condition, his daughter Suvarna Vrinda Devi Dasi will be the designated beneficiary for any donations made. The family humbly requests prayers and any financial support from devotees during this challenging time.
If possible, kindly post your prayer, when you donate.

I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to say a big thank you to each one of you who helped raise an donate funds for my father. Your kindness and support means more to us than words can express.
As many of you know, my father has been paralyzed for the past five months, and it has been a very tough time for our family. Your generosity has helped us provide the medical care and equipment he needs, and for that, we are truly grateful.
He can now eat with his mouth, which is a huge step forward since he no longer needs a feeding tube. While it’s still very difficult for him, it’s a sign of progress. We are also helping him sit up, which is another milestone. His senses are gradually returning, though still very mild, but we remain hopeful.
The road to recovery is still long, but your support has made this journey a little easier for us. Not only has your generosity helped us with the costs, but it has also given us strength and hope during this challenging time.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, your donations, and your prayers. We are incredibly fortunate to have such wonderful people like you in our lives.
With sincere thanks,
Smarnika Shah Tapadar (Suvarna Vrinda Devi dasi) & Family
Mayapur, West Bengal
